• Browser settings: best results are obtained with a browser that has a text window size of 35 lines down min.( equ. of 640 by 700 pixels) and a font size of 9pt. If you use our logo to adjust the horizontal width to fully see it and you strech your window max. vertically you see the server as we design it.
  
  
• Pictures and artwork: all our pictures are either in gif or jpeg format scanned with 100 - 200 dpi and processed with 256 colors. We insist on taking our own pictures and sound, all material you see here is original photo and/or artwork. The artwork is hand drawn, scanned, colored and processed.
  
  
• Size: at the time of this writing we occupy around 25 MBytes of disk space. We have 477 html, 375 gif, 413 jpeg and 12 wav files, that means close to 500 pages and 750 photos. We just passed the "5000 unique hosts per month" barrier and are now serving close to 700 MBytes per month.
  
  
• Design: the web pages are designed using a mix of equipment. Scanning and processing is done under dos, writing and sizing under linux using netscape, emacs and many other gnu tools. Linux also runs the http server locally which makes for a convenient and most importantly stable development environment. The machines are all "slip" connected from different sites for foreign language work.
