Ruth with paper and
pen, always prepared to draw a sketch. Born in Berlin between world
wars she started a career as an illustrator at the very tender age of
12. Her talent was discovered rapidly, she was instantly offered to
study at the Berlin Academy of Fine Arts. The war and discremation
delayed her career. Shortly after the war a scholarship at the Ecole
des Beaux Arts in Paris followed, Fernand Leger invited her to his
artist workshop. The Paris period was very busy, studying, designing
theater sets and back drops and - last but not least - starting a
family. Ruth now lives in Munich and teaches at the French school. On
her rest all responsibilities concerning art and theater events.
